Years back, I cut down a few trees that had already passed on. I thought they were Cherry trees. But after years of making various projects with the wood, I realized that it wasn’t Cherry, it was PLUM wood!
Now Plum is like Cherry, they are similar woods, from similar trees. But Plum us darker, more colorful, and more dense. Every piece I’ve made with it has a satisfying weight to it, including this box, which has a simply delightful sound and tactile experience!
